Everything this project makes is free — the text, the translations, the commentary, the editions, the podcast. The people named here helped pay the real bills behind it — web hosting and data delivery, the domain, podcast distribution, the app's developer membership, and the software used to record and edit the episodes — and are recorded in the order of giving.

The first names will be carved here.

Zigong compared the teaching to a wall many fathoms high: without finding the gate and entering, one does not see the beauty of the ancestral temple within, or the wealth of its hundred officers — "and those who find the gate are few" (19.23). Of Zilu the Master said: "he has ascended the hall, though he has not yet entered the chamber" (11.15).

One-time, never a subscription, and nothing is locked behind it — give here or in the app's tip jar. A supporter who sends a name and a few words has it carved above by hand in the next release.
