The Master said: "In preparing the governmental notifications, Pi Shen first made the rough draft; Shishu examined and discussed its contents; Ziyu of Dongli, who was the manager of foreign intercourse, then polished the style; and finally, Zichan of Zheng gave it its proper elegance and finish."
